Officer of the Month - February 2015

Officer Matthew Kueny #156 was selected as the Officer of the Month for February 2015. Officer Kueny was assigned a follow up investigation in which a citizen was involved in an ongoing dispute with another subject. During this dispute, the defendant was alleged to have made a video in which he was masked, armed with a sword and threatened to kill the victim. Officer Kueny through diligent follow-up was able to identify the defendant. This information was brought to a municipal court judge and probable cause was established for the issuance of a criminal complaint. The defendant was subsequently charged with Terroristic Threats, arrested and then lodged in Burlington County Jail in default of bail.

Officer Kueny’s professionalism and diligence in regard to the resolution of this case demonstrates the core values of the Willingboro Police Department, which are honor, integrity and commitment. The Willingboro Police Department is proud to name Officer Matthew Kueny
as the Officer of the Month for February 2015.
