POLICE DEPARTMENT

The Willingboro Police Department offers a Citizen's Police Academy open to all residents 21 years old or older.  The purpose of the academy is to foster a better relationship, through education and training, between the citizens of Willingboro and their police department. The class is held once a week for several weeks.  Police training, communication, K-9, domestic violence, patrol, S.W.A.T., detectives and recruiting are examples of some of the topics that are covered.  Instruction consists of lectures, demonstrations, tours, and riding with a police officer.
